Who is

 the Holy Spirit ?

by H.H. Pope Shenouda III

You should know who the Holy Spirit is, and what is His work in you and for you, in order to have a relationship with Him and know your need of Him. The Holy Spirit is the "Holy Spirit of God" (Eph. 4:30; 2 Cor. 3:3). He is the "Spirit of God" (Gen. 1: 2; Rom. I5: 19; 1 Cor. 12:3). The Holy Spirit is God because "God is Spirit" (Jn. 4:24). Is Jesus God?

First, we say LORD JESUS not just “Jesus” because he is indeed God.

Yes, Lord Jesus is God. When He wanted to come to earth, He was born from Virgin Mary.  He became a full human being and did everything like humans.  Everything but sin.

So Lord Jesus is both God and Man in one nature called The God Incarnate.

As God, Lord Jesus has always existed.  He was not created when He was born. Instead, He willingly chose to take on a human body.

Do you have a question?

write it to us!

Anba Bishoi: A Life of TRUE Submission

A life of TRUE submission means living in complete obedience to the Holy Spirit. A person of TRUE submission accepts gladly whatever happens in their life and with thanksgiving, knowing that it was for their well being, whether in appearance or thought it is perceived as good or bad. By H.G. Extracts

Psalm 62

Be holy – let us pray

“ A sacrifice to be real must cost, must hurt, and must empty ourselves.”

The fruit of silence is prayer,

the fruit of prayer is faith,

the fruit of faith is love,

the fruit of love is service,

and the fruit of service is peace.

{Mother Teresa}
