Is Jesus God?

First, we say LORD JESUS not just “Jesus” because he is indeed God.

Yes, Lord Jesus is God. When He wanted to come to earth, He was born from Virgin Mary.  He became a full human being and did everything like humans.  Everything but sin.

So Lord Jesus is both God and Man in one nature called The God Incarnate.

As God, Lord Jesus has always existed.  He was not created when He was born. Instead, He willingly chose to take on a human body.

Do you have a question?

The Glorious Feast of Resurrection

"I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me."  ( Galatians 2:20)

I am The resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, Though he may die, he shall live. (John 11:25)

But the angel answered and said to the women, Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. (Matthew 28:5-6)

May Her blessings be upon our church.

The Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary The Mother of God.

On this day the church celebrates the birth of the pure Virgin St. Mary, the Mother of God (Theotokos), through whom Salvation came to mankind. She was born in the city of Nazareth, where her parents lived. Her father was grieved in his heart for he could not offer an offering to God for he did not have any children.(Read More.)

  Concerning the Statues

Every day God is addressing us and we do not hear; and yet He does not leave off speaking. You, therefore imitate this tender care towards your neighbor. For this reason it is we are placed with one another; that we inhabit cities, and that we meet together in churches, in order that we may bear one another's sins in fellowship and love. Whatever advantages each man is able to confer upon his neighbor, let him not grudge, nor shrink from doing it, that we may be all together partakers of the kingdom of heaven; through the grace and loving kindness of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
--John Chrysostom –
